MendenFreiman Expands its Tax Practice by Adding New Tax Controversy Practice Group
MendenFreiman is excited to announce the expansion of the firm with the addition of an established tax controversy and planning practice, specializing in resolving disputes before the Internal Revenue Service, Georgia Department of Revenue, and various state revenue agencies for individuals, businesses, estates, and trusts. The addition includes six attorneys who bring a reputation for quality legal representation, zealous advocacy, and uncompromising client service. MendenFreiman sees it as a natural expansion and perfect fit for the firm and its clients. With the new practice group, MendenFreiman has solidified its position as one of the largest boutique law firms within its specialty areas in the greater Atlanta market.
“We have always sought to provide our clients with the very best in service,” says Lawrence (Larry) Freiman, Managing Partner of MendenFreiman. “This includes finding ways to meet the growing needs of our clients. Over the years, our clients have asked for our assistance with their tax disputes with federal and state taxing authorities. We decided to expand our service offering to address that demand.”
When the opportunity presented itself to add these accomplished attorneys to the team, it was an easy decision for Freiman. “The tax and business attorneys who have joined our firm are incredibly talented individuals whose practices dovetail perfectly with our existing expertise and client work. I’m very pleased with this expansion and know our clients will find the addition extremely beneficial.”
Of significance, the new services expand MendenFreiman’s current tax planning practice to include representation of clients in tax disputes and controversy matters, such as federal and state tax audits and collection, as well as other tax-related matters.
Lance Einstein, a new partner with the firm, is equally enthusiastic. “MendenFreiman has a superb reputation within the Atlanta legal community. Our team has great respect for the people at the firm and the work the firm delivers. MendenFreiman provides us with a fantastic platform to continue to successfully serve our clients, and the firm’s depth and sophistication will allow us to provide our clients the best service possible. It’s a great fit for everyone.”
