Sonya Junkins is a junior paralegal in MendenFreiman’s tax controversy, tax planning, and estate administration practice areas. She joined the firm in 2019 and her primary work includes assisting attorneys and clients with the preparation of Lien Discharges, Offers in Compromises, and other tax controversy related matters at the state and federal levels. Sonya also assists with various types of business and probate matters, mainly LLC formations and Estate Administration.
Sonya’s background includes legal assistance and court reporting billing. Her previous employment includes Gomel, Davis & Watson, LLP of Atlanta, GA, and Alexander Gallo Holdings in Atlanta and San Diego, CA. She is currently studying to become an Enrolled Agent before the IRS.
